Actor and singer Dove Cameron and Måneskin frontman Damiano David are married. A representative for the couple confirmed the news to Vogue, and the magazine has since published an inside look at a three-day celebration in the Tuscan hills that put Italian tailoring, celestial details and a very personal engraving centre stage.
A town hall ceremony, then a castle in the vineyards
According to Vogue and Vogue Italia, the weekend began on Thursday 24 September with a civil ceremony for close family and friends at the medieval Palazzo dei Priori, Montalcino’s town hall. The couple arrived together in a vintage white Lancia Flavia convertible; Cameron wore a bespoke ivory Giorgio Armani suit with a floor-length cape, while David chose a cream double-breasted suit by the Roman tailoring house Giuliva Heritage. Vogue notes that the date fell exactly three years after their first real date.
A vineyard welcome dinner followed on the Friday, and the main ceremony took place on Saturday 26 September among the ruins of the 12th-century castle at Castiglion del Bosco, an estate outside Montalcino. Haute Living reported more than 200 guests. Kenny Ortega, who directed Cameron in the first Descendants films, officiated, and all of David’s Måneskin bandmates attended.
Stars, sparkle and a line inside the rings
For the main ceremony Cameron wore a custom Valentino gown by Alessandro Michele, with a four-metre veil embroidered with crystals and micro-beads in the pattern of star constellations, a nod to her middle name, Celeste. David wore a classic three-piece Giorgio Armani suit, finished with a jewelled brooch, cufflinks and a museum-loaned watch, Vogue reported.
The most touching detail was a small one. During their vows the couple repeated a phrase that has run through their relationship, “the best part of being alive”. Vogue reports that the line is engraved inside both of their engagement rings, and was even embroidered inside the bride’s corset. David proposed privately at their Los Angeles home in October 2025, and the pair announced the engagement in January.
