Kim Kardashian and the Million-Dollar Diamonds of All’s Fair 2

Kim Kardashian is back as Allura Grant, the fearless divorce lawyer of Ryan Murphy’s legal drama All’s Fair. The second season arrives on 4 November 2026 (on Disney+ in Italy and Hulu in the US), and if the trailer is anything to go by, the real scene-stealers are not the courtroom speeches but the jewels. Vanity Fair Italia has picked out the most dazzling details, and they read like a love letter to Elizabeth Taylor.

A $2.7 Million Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor

In one of the trailer’s most striking moments, Kardashian wears Leviev diamonds reported to be worth more than $2.7 million. Page Six identified them as the Savona necklace, valued at $1.55 million and set with 44.71 carats of pear-shaped natural diamonds, and the Aveline drop earrings, valued at $1.2 million. The look recreates a famous night in 1969, when Taylor attended Princess Grace of Monaco’s 40th birthday party in a black velvet cape embroidered with glittering scorpions, wearing the 69.42-carat pear-shaped Taylor-Burton Diamond, a gift from Richard Burton.

The cape itself, made by the Roman couture house Tiziani, is no replica. According to Page Six, the original now belongs to Kris Jenner, who wore it to the season’s premiere at the Rome Film Festival in October. Sarah Paulson, who plays Carrington Lane, also appears in it in the trailer. For anyone who loves the drama of statement earrings or a sparkling necklace, this is the season to watch.

Archive Fashion and Jewels with a Story

The love of archive pieces goes well beyond one cape. In the first season, Allura wore vintage designs by John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, Donna Karan and Jean Paul Gaultier, paired with jewellery from Pasquale Bruni, Vivienne Westwood and Swarovski. Costume designer Paula Bradley shaped the character’s look together with stylist Soki Mak, whom Kardashian brought on board herself.

Glenn Close takes a quieter route. Bradley has explained that in an auction scene the actor wears an Erdem coat with jewellery from her own collection, pieces given to her by Giorgio Armani. It is a lovely reminder that the most meaningful jewels often carry a personal story.

Off screen, Kardashian is blurring the line between herself and her character. At the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on 17 October, she wore an archival 1951 Balenciaga gown with Leviev’s Carmen necklace, holding 55 carats of diamonds in 18-carat white gold, plus earrings by Zydo. Quiet luxury it is not, but it is a joyful case for jewellery that is meant to be seen. If that mood appeals, pair a gemstone sapphire pendant or sapphire earrings with a classic leather handbag.
