Talita von Fürstenberg Weds in Careyes, Mexico

This weekend, Talita von Fürstenberg — granddaughter of designer Diane von Fürstenberg — marries Rocco Brignone de Brabant at Careyes on Mexico’s Pacific coast in Jalisco. Vanity Fair Italia and ¡Hola! both report the celebrations, after Mexican society title Quién first flagged the guest list and timing. It is a fashion-and-society moment rooted in a place the couple have known since childhood.

A wedding weekend on the Pacific

Careyes is an exclusive coastal enclave of private villas and striking architecture, long tied to the Brignone family. Rocco’s grandfather, Turin-born banker Gian Franco Brignone, began developing the stretch of jungle, coves and cliffs in the late 1960s. Vanity Fair Italia notes that the von Fürstenberg family also kept a home there, and that Talita and Rocco first met as children among those shared summers. Pre-wedding gatherings were already under way by Thursday 5 November, including a welcome rompehielos (ice-breaker) for arriving guests, according to the same reports.

Expected among the guests are members of the Greek royal family connected through Talita’s maternal aunt Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos, alongside European aristocratic and international society names — the kind of jet-set circle that has long orbited Careyes.

Fashion lineage and a long engagement

Born in 1999 to Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg and Alexandra Miller, Talita studied fashion business and marketing and collaborated with her grandmother on the TVF for DVF line. People and Tatler covered the couple’s engagement when Diane von Fürstenberg announced it on Instagram on 1 August 2025: Rocco proposed, Talita accepted, and the designer invited well-wishers to celebrate with them. The pair have been together since 2018; eight years on, they are exchanging vows where their story began.
