Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc and his wife, Alexandra Saint Mleux, have become parents for the first time. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter, Bianca, in a joint Instagram post on 4 November 2026, revealing that she was born the day before, on 3 November. True to their famously private style, the announcement was simple: the baby’s name, the date and a white heart, alongside a photograph of her tiny feet in soft knitted booties.
A quiet announcement between two races
The news came in a busy stretch of the Formula 1 calendar. Leclerc finished fourth at the Mexico City Grand Prix on 1 November and, while much of the paddock headed on towards Brazil, he flew home to Monaco to be with Alexandra for the birth. Vanity Fair Italia reports that Ferrari’s young reserve Dino Beganovic is due to drive in first practice at the São Paulo Grand Prix this weekend, giving the new father a little more time at home.
Congratulations poured in almost immediately. Former team-mate Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly were among the drivers who replied, as did Ferrari, Mercedes and the FIA, while the good wishes also reached well beyond motorsport, with actress Eva Longoria among the familiar names leaving a message.
From a Monaco wedding to a family of three
The pair, first linked in 2023, married in a small civil ceremony at Monaco’s town hall in February 2026, later sharing footage of themselves driving away in a vintage red Ferrari. Alexandra, an art historian and model, revealed her pregnancy in August with a photograph taken on a yacht. Leclerc has spoken openly about wanting a family alongside his racing career, and in recent weeks he even joked on social media that his first practice run with a pram had gone well. The couple’s miniature dachshund, Leo, is already a regular companion, so Bianca joins a household used to travelling together.
A November keepsake
A birth is often marked with a small piece of jewellery that can be kept for years. Babies born in November share two traditional birthstones, topaz and citrine, both prized for their warm golden tones. A delicate topaz pendant or a pair of citrine earrings makes a thoughtful gift for a new mother, while a fine bracelet can be worn every day as a quiet reminder of a special date. For the practical side of early parenthood, a roomy leather tote bag keeps everything to hand on the move.
We send our warmest wishes to Charles, Alexandra and little Bianca.
